Fleet Manager NL

Local Car fleet Managers are responsible for the overall management of local fleet, managed operationally by our Business Service Center. This role is the primary interface between the driver community, HR, Finance, the workers council, the country board and local external partners and requires close collaboration with those stakeholders. This role reports into the Global Fleet Manager within Group Procurement.

•Manage the local fleet operation of xxxx cars, serviced locally or by BSV compliant to group policy and in alignment with local procurement. 

•Manage operational relationship with internal stakeholders i.e. Finance, HR, legal, workers council, Country Boards and local external suppliers, managed by local procurement. 

•Collect local market intelligence to collaborate with all central functions on optimized local conditions, detecting market trends impacting tax or benefit in kind structures.

•Ensure global policy is implemented and guard that local policy exceptions are formally documented and aligned to local law and regulations.

•Optimize local asset management and drive compliance to global fleet program.

•Benchmark and consult with other local fleet managers to drive overall process efficiency and employee experience.

•Manage local escalations in line with group policy.

•Advanced communication skills in local language and English.

•5+ year experience in car fleet management.

•Experience in fleet policy development and driving change.

•Professional masters degree or equivalent experience.

•Strong Data analytics skills.

•Experience in operational supplier management / Cost and TCO insight)
