Procurement Indirects Buyer Benelux

You will be part of the European Indirects procurement category team with a focus on the Benelux area.

The Capgemini Indirects Buyer scope cover the Facility Management and Real Estate spend in the Benelux

In this role you will:

• Define, execute and manage procurement initiatives in close collaboration with the business
• Manage the relationship with all business units and departments such as Facility Management, Real Estate, Legal, Ethics and Compliance with which Procurement works in strong collaboration
• Manages procurement savings (calculation rules, reporting and reconciliation with finance
• Gather and generalize best practices. Participate in forums and other intelligence sharing means
• Implement internal governance for the Category scope, engage with the global Indirects community in order to leverage the power of the Group

You will report to the Northern Europe Indirects Category Manager, with a dotted line report to our CPO in the Benelux.

Our global procurement team of around 400 professionals works across multiple categories and countries.

Position Tasks & Responsibilities

Your role will include:

• Support building the strategic category plan for the respective commodity area detailing key savings initiatives, market trends and spend analysis.
• Manage the relationships with both local and global key stakeholders and with members of in-country procurement team through regular alignment calls/meetings
• Negotiate supplier contracts and commercials in collaboration with the Country and Global teams
• Manage the performance of strategic vendors through a structured regime of supplier relationship management
• Support and drive competitiveness into cost efficiency
• Focus on working with the team to deliver true P&L savings for Capgemini
• Ensure all savings and initiative reporting are accurate and conducted in-line with the group reporting requirements

• Track record of delivering savings, whilst also understanding the value of quality and service provision

• Can adapt to fast changing schedules and priorities
• Strong communication skills both oral and written in English, Dutch will be a plus
• Able to work under time constraints and in a changing - and international environment
• Ability to initiate and deploy projects / procurement initiatives across organizations

Your background and qualifications

• Business school
• 5-7 years’ experience in Procurement of Indirects
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player and skilled negotiator
• Autonomous and structured
• MS Office pack (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Strong analytical and presentation skill
• Able to work in international environment
• Fluent English
