Risk & Compliance Officer

You support the maintenance of the Integrated Management System through reviews and by proactively helping departments with the preparation of their documentation. You track risk & compliance records such as audit findings, KPIs, OTACE reports etc. and monitor the execution of business process controls. Accordingly, you advice business owners on how to improve their operations from a risk perspective. In addition, you perform internal audits and assessments on these controls and prepare for audits that are conducted by the client, regulatory bodies, and external auditors (ISAE, ISO). You also conducts audits of engagement subcontractors. And you’re helping the Risk & Compliance Specialist with the preparation and distribution of compliance reports.

You will become part of the Risk, Compliance & Security team consisting of 5 people. The team is part of the Capgemini Pension Services practice that went live in January 2021. We have created an inhouse pension solutions platform for one of the biggest pension funds in The Netherlands and we are continuing to develop this software. We have been around for two years now and are in the scaleup phase. That means that we’re all buckling down to make it a great success. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and we regularly organize team outings and drinks. We work with around 100 people from The Netherlands and are supported by colleagues in Poland and India.

You know that people can show resistance to your advice, and are able to help them understand in a subtle way what the importance is of the control system. In addition, you have:

• A completed bachelor or master degree in the field of financial management, economics, econometrics, accounting, actuarial sciences or related.
• At least 1-2 years of experience working for the finance, accounting, reporting, risk, modeling or treasury functions in the financial services sector.
